We are a family run business comprising of myself, my husband and our two grown up daughters. Mark and I have been married for 25 years and travelling with our children has always been important, as this is a time to create family memories and to reconnect with each other. Our passion for cruising has developed over the years and we have been able to experience several different cruise lines.
I have worked in the travel industry for over 16 years. 13 years was spent working in retail for a large tour operator and then in recent years within the head office team at Fred Olsen Travel.
Mark works in the construction industry and has over 20 years of management experience.
Our two daughters are also involved in the business and are happy to share a younger person’s point of view.
Between us we bring you a dedicated team who can offer many years of experience and knowledge.
We are involved in our customer’s whole travel experience from their first enquiry through to them returning home and offer the benefit of being available any time rather than being restricted by retail hours.
Our favourite cruise ship...
My favourite ship is P&O Ventura.
I was fortunate to experience Ventura before her inaugural cruise in 2008. I still remember the feeling of seeing her in Southampton port for the first time.
We have also cruised on her for our wedding anniversary and with family for my 40th birthday. Ventura feels like home for me, the atmosphere onboard is warm, cosy and friendly. We also cruised in December and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. The ship has lots to offer for all ages, from dining, entertainments to activities, it is impossible to be bored onboard Ventura.
I have so many happy memories from this ship so she will always be my number one.
Next on our wish list is...
Our last cruise had an overnight stay in Bordeaux. I would like to return and explore Bordeaux further as it is a beautiful city with a very cosmopolitan feel.
If I were looking further afield then an Alaska cruise is on the wish list. I would combine a cruise with a land tour to explore the glaciers whilst cruising and then the wilderness of the Denali national park.
