After all the anticipation and the hype surrounding the arrival of Anthem of the Seas, I was not only impressed I was blown away.
Before even getting on board she looked magnificent and once on board, you just couldn't fail to be impressed.
The cabins and staterooms were wonderful and the public areas were very impressive.
There are so many innovative areas on board, such as the Bionic Bar, where two robotic arms swing and shake rapidly to make a collection of delicious drinks.
You order your cocktail via an iPad and complete the purchase with the WOWband.
As soon as it’s ready, hold your WOWband against the stand to operate a conveyor belt that carries the completed cocktail directly into your hand.
This ship also boasts: light bulbs that read your pulse; a fantastic setting throughout the ship; the Royal Theatre; many bars and an abundance of entertainment!
Why would you want to get off?
One of my highlights was going up in the North Star, high above the ship. The view was truly breath-taking!
The other particular highlight for me was the We Will Rock You show in the Royal Theatre. It was easily one of the best shows I have ever seen either on shore or at sea.
This really is a ship to experience - one not to miss!! Well done Royal Caribbean!
